Due to hesitation regarding the results of this year’s Nasreddin Hodja Festival in Turkey—particularly the selection of a winning piece that appears to have been created using artificial intelligence—and out of respect for real artists, Cartoon Magazine has decided not to publish the results of this edition.
We sincerely hope that festivals will exercise greater care in selecting professional juries, so that we do not witness such disastrous decisions in the future.
