Forest Fires
Forest fires are a global disaster that destroy not only trees but also life, memory, and the future.
Every year, millions of hectares of forests in Türkiye and around the world are reduced to ashes due to human negligence, arson, climate crisis, and irresponsible interventions.
The aim of this contest is to raise public awareness of forest fires through the universal language of cartoon art and to encourage humanity to rethink its responsibility toward nature.
Conditions:
-Open to adults (18+) and youth (under 18) worldwide
-No technical restrictions on techniques
-AI-generated artworks are not accepted
-Plagiarized or similar works will be disqualified; all responsibility lies with the participant
-Any number of non-awarded works may be submitted; however, only one prize per participant is allowed
-Maximum size: A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), 300 dpi, JPG format
-Required information: name, surname, age, postal address, phone number, e-mail, short biography, and one photo
-Selected and awarded cartoons will be published in a PDF album, shared with artists and online
-Exhibition and award ceremony will be held in May 2026 (exact date to be announced)
-All participants will receive a digital certificate
-One night of accommodation will be provided for award-winning artists attending the ceremony; travel expenses are the artists’ responsibility
-Submitted works will remain in the organizers’ archives and may be published with artist credit in various media
-Participation implies acceptance of all contest conditions
