Silvano Mello is the first Brazilian cartoonist to exhibit in
Slovakia, at the Brain Sneezing Gallery – Center for Independent Culture
Black Bridge Prešov and regularly participates in the international Brainsneezing humor competition. His artistic style is
very distinctive, he uses clean drawing with an emphasis on facial expressions
and gestures of the characters, his humor is based on contrast and short punchlines. His
cartoon characters get into sadly funny grotesque
situations symbolized by clowns. The exhibition is better to see once
than to read about it a hundred times. The exhibition was supported from public funds
by the Fund for the Support of Arts.
