Every drop of water matters
Water is an essential but vulnerable resource that is under pressure worldwide due to climate change, population growth and rising demand. Water scarcity is affecting more and more regions and threatens ecosystems, agriculture and human livelihoods. Only 3 % of all water on earth is freshwater, most of which is not immediately available. The unequal distribution of water is exacerbated by human activities and the climate crisis, leading to droughts, floods and pollution. Our water footprint is large, and conscious water consumption is necessary to combat scarcity. Together we can contribute to a more sustainable water distribution. Alone we are a drop, together we form a river
Conditions:
-cartoonists from all over the world can participate
-Anyone aged 18 and over can participate in this international contest
-Participants declare that they agree with the terms and conditions of the contest, and the jury’s decisions
-Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 entries (color or black and white) in A4 format
-All drawings must be submitted digitally in sufficiently high quality: A4 600 dpi with a maximum size of 8 MB
-Accepted file formats are jpg, png, psd, eps and pdf
