-Yasar Kemal is very important novelist for us. His works have been translated into numerous languages and published in many countries around the world
-Yasar Kemal has been the voice of the working class in Turkey and has written tens of novels with that regard
-Yasar Kemal, also a close friend to the Turkish Cartoonists’ Association, passed away in 2014
-We, as his cartoonist friends, would like to publish a cartoon album for Yasar Kemal, the most respected wordsmith
-Dear Cartoonist, we will be more than honored to see your portrait cartoon in our album for Yasar Kemal
