International Caricature Exhibition on Tagore and Mahfouz/ Egypt 2024

To celebrate Tagore's birthday, the Embassy of India in Cairo is organizing a caricature exhibition on "Tagore and Mahfouz", will be held in May, at Maulana Azad Center for Indian Culture in Cairo

Rabindranath Tagore (May 7, 1861– August 7, 1941) was active as a poet, writer, playwright, composer, philosopher, social reformer, educationist and painter during the age of Bengal Renaissance, he became in 1913 the first non-European and the first lyricist to win the Nobel Prize in Literature

Naguib Mahfouz (December 11, 1911 – August 30, 2006) was one of the most famous and prominent Egyptian and Arab writers, and the first Arab writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988



 -We encourage Caricaturists from all over the world to participate in this exhibition

-Submitted works can be in color or black and white, in any style or technique

-All artworks to be prepared at 300 dpi.

-Size A3 (297mmx420mm) in JPEG format

-Please mention the artist's name and country with the artwork



All participants whose works will be exhibited will receive a digital catalog and a digital certificate of participation
