Cartoon – participants must create works that address the theme of “Organ Donation,” without resorting to visual puns involving musical and reproductive organs. It is crucial to avoid representations that could demean patients on the transplant list or stigmatize specific groups.

Cartoon – In this category, participants are challenged to produce critical and humorous graphic representations of political and social events related to the proposed theme. The cartoons must avoid any form of stereotype or prejudice regarding donors, recipients, or professionals involved in the organ donation/transplantation process.

Caricature (Valdir de Carvalho Special Prize) – In this edition, the Humor Salon pays homage to Dr. Joseph Murray, a notable and fundamental figure in the history of medicine, a pioneer in organ transplantation and responsible for the first successful human kidney transplant, performed in 1954; and to Dr. Emil Sabbaga, an important figure in the consolidation of this area in Brazil, who acted as clinical coordinator of the first organ transplant performed in the country, in 1965. For the creation of the works, we have made available on the Humor Salon website reference images of the honorees
