Theme:
The Panama Canal as a Historical and Cultural Symbol
Participants are invited to depict, through cartoons and graphic humor, the historical significance of the Panama Canal and its role in shaping identity, cultural diversity, and the connection between peoples around the world
Conditions:
-Open to cartoonists, illustrators, and graphic humorists from Panama and all countries
-Participation is free and limited to adults (18 years and older)
-Only original digital works will be accepted
-AI-generated artworks are not permitted
-Each participant may submit only one work
-Entries must be in A4 format (A4-A3 accepted), 300 dpi, JPEG or PNG, in black and white or color, and signed by the artist
-The file name must include the author’s name and country
-Each submission must include the participant’s full name (and artistic name, if applicable) and country
-Works containing offensive, insulting, discriminatory, or hate-promoting content will not be accepted
Prizes:
One winner will receive US$500
