Participation-

The competition is open to all artists (Picture book artist,Illustrator, Cartoonist, Comic artist, Caricaturist, Printmaker and Painter) regardless of nationality, age, sex, etc

illustrators, including professionals and newcomers, submitting unpublished works or works of published

.art colleges submitting projects produced by their students in the last four years of study

.publishers presenting their illustrators

Entries-

.The works whether they have been awarded in other contests previously will be accepted

8 original illustrations (minimum number), produced using any technique, including computer graphics (in case of mixed technique, please send both original drawings and printouts of the ultimate artwork).There are no quantitative restrictions in the Cartoon、Caricature、Comic group

The minimum 8 -- maximum 100 entries should be submitted for each category.These works form a story.Work is only allowed in Chinese or English. Words can't appear in works. If you need to writing, must be in English(or Chinese), writing the other a piece of paper .English(or Chinese) words according to the serial number order of works to write clearly

The works should be accompanied by the author's resume and photo (or caricature)

First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone number should be written on the reverse side of the works.   Please specify in envelope: “2017 Gold Panda”

Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Any painting, Print making, Traditional Chinese Painting, Oil painting, Watercolor, Crafts art or sculpture will be accepted

International contest cartoon BRAILA/ Romania 2017

Conditions :

-EaThe cartoons will be original and accompanied by a brief biography (including photo, address and phone number).
The making technique of the cartoons is free.
Deadline: The cartoons will be sent until the 27th August 2017.
Mandatory technical conditions
Size: A3 (297 mm x420 mm).
The cartoons will be sent in electronic format, JPG, 300 dpi, CMYK
Each sent cartoon will contain in the name of the file the author's name and title of the work/the cartoons’ numbering.

Participants must own all the rights to the cartoons entered in the contest.
The cartoon’s author gives the Organizer the right to use the cartoon, according to the Romanian legislation, in order to promote the event, the institution and the city's image, by any means.
The Organizer does not assume any responsibility for any breaches of copyright. Exclusive responsibility lies with the one who sent the cartoon.

-Prizes are taxed according to Romanian legislation.
Please note! To be able to receive their prize, winners must send the winning cartoon in original (with the author's signature on the back of the work) within 30 days from the announcement and communicate the bank account in lei ( for the Romanian competitors) or the euro account (for foreign competitors ).
The winning cartoons will be mailed to the following address: Romania, Braila, Traian Square, No. 2, Postal code 810 153.
The Organizer shall not be responsible for failure of a winner to receive the prize for reasons that are not related to the Organizer. If the competitor does not comply with the obligations imposed by this regulation, the Organizer is relieved of any liability.
Mention! In the absence of interbank relations between Romania and the country of origin of the winner, the Organizer is relieved of any liability.
Salon opening and award ceremony: the 22nd of September 2017
Edition catalog will include a selection of the most valuable works in the competition;
The awarded artists will receive a copy of the mentioned catalogue for free.
