Theme:

 -Women Empowerment

-Portraiture This section revolves around drawing portraits featuring prominent female figures in human history:

Conditions:

 -A participant can submit up to two drawings for each category

-The cartoon size should be A3 or A4, and the total submitted file size should not exceed two megabytes

-Each artist whose work is accepted shall send a zipped file carrying the name of the artist and the category for which the work is submitted. The file shall also include the following,

-The artist’s name, nationality, and country must be stated and the submitted work shall be in JPG (300 dpi) and pdf format

-A short bio of the participant in word file, containing the participant’s name, address, national

ID or passport number, nationality, contact details (phone number and WhatsApp account

no.), a link to published works on social media, a statement of previous competitions in which

the competitor has participated, statement of the drawing type, technique and employed

means.

-A double-sided copy of the ID card for Egyptians, and a copy of the passport for foreigners

-Submissions received via the email after the deadline shall not be considered

-The entries must be an original creation that has not been submitted to any other competition

-winning, provided that the respective competitors send the original works within 10 days from

the date of being notified thereof to the following address Education Development Center for

Al-Azhar International Students Ahmed Said street , opposite Booath passport office, Abbaseya,

Cairo

Prizes:

First winner: $1000

Second winner: $750

Third winner: $500

Three incentive awards, $250 each, shall be given to the next three winners

All winners will also receive the distinguished Al-Azhar Shield

There will also be ten incentive awards; each is worth L.E. 100

An electronic certificate of participation shall be sent to all artists whose works are accepted

Theme:

Harmony with Differences

Conditions:

-The competition is open to anyone, both domestically and internationally, who wishes to participate

-Individuals and groups can participate (in case of winning an award, payment will be made to only one person from the group)

-Participants must be at least 18 years old; individuals under the age of 18 cannot participate

-Clock Tower illustration proposals can be created using any digital, vector, pixel, or manual technique (on paper/cardboard) and can be scanned, photographed, and/or digitized afterward (collage, photography, or three-dimensional objects are also allowed)

-Participants can submit a maximum of three (3) designs

-There are no restrictions on color, background, and technical aspects in the designs

-Hand-drawn or sketch designs will not be accepted. The designs should be in vector format, in either RGB or CMYK color mode, with a maximum size of (A3) 29.7cm x 42cm, prepared using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs. Each design should be uploaded in 72 PPI resolution JPEG, PDF, or PNG version through the application tool on the website

-The uploaded designs should not exceed 4MB in size. If a design is selected as a winner, the artist will be asked to provide the high-resolution (300 PPI) version of the artwork with a size of 29.7 cm (1:1 scale)

-The submitted designs to the competition must be original. Participants are required to acknowledge, declare, and guarantee that the designs they submit are their own. The designs must not have received awards or been published in other competitions before. If such a situation is detected, the awarded prize will be reclaimed

Prizes:

The first-place design will be awarded 30,000 TL.

The second-place design will be awarded 25,000 TL.

The third-place design will be awarded 20,000 TL.

3 Honorable Mention awards will be given, each amounting to 5,000 TL.

In addition, for the top 20 works selected for the exhibition, a payment of 2,000 TL will be made per artwork
